Police Clearance certificate Singapore is known as a certificate of clearance Singapore (COCS). It is issued by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Singapore Police Force. It is issued to an applicant to certify that he / she does not have any record of criminal conviction in Singapore within a specific period of time.
Eligibility Criteria to apply for Singapore police clearance certificate and the Procedure
PCC Singapore is issued only to those people who have resided in Singapore for a period of minimum 6 months under a valid pass issued by the competent authority. And the applicant must 16 years old and above to apply for a certificate of clearance Singapore .
Once you have met all the above mentioned criteria, you may apply for Police Clearance certificate Singapore. At first one, needs to submit an appeal for consideration for a COC. And if your plea is successful, you may submit the application for COC. Scanned Documentary proof/ letter from Embassy indicating that Singapore police clearance is required by a foreign government authority stating the purpose
Scanned Identification documents – front and back page
Scanned biometric page of applicant’s valid passport
Digital or scanned passport –sized photograph
A full set of Original hardcopy of the fingerprint impressions
